Selling your goods to Truly Local

The following guidance is to help you get an idea of the conditions under which we will consider stocking your goods in the shop. We have divided these into Processed Foods which include items such as jams, preserves, honey, dairy, sweets, cakes and beverages; Greengrocery which includes garden produce; and Art & Crafts. All produce is stocked at the discretion of the shop manager.

Processed Foods We can only consider stocking products in the shop if you:

  • Are registered with your local council as a food producer
  • Hold a current food hygiene certificate
  • Comply with all legal requirements according to Trading Standards Dept of Norfolk County Council
  • Produce an invoice
  • Produce your goods within 35 miles of the shop in Stalham NR12 9AS
  • Deliver your products free of charge
  • Provide initial samples for tasting

Please note we prefer products which do not contain large amounts of artificial preservatives and e-numbers.

Greengrocery   We can only consider stocking your produce in the shop if:

  • You grow your produce within 35 miles of the shop in Stalham NR12 9AS
  • Your produce is of good quality and has a good shelf life
  • You deliver free of charge
  • You accept our bartering system ie., 50% of the re-sale price in the form of a credit note to spend in the shop.

Please note we prefer produce which has not been sprayed with pesticides, and if you are planning to have produce ready, please let us know well in advance so that we can plan ahead.

Arts & Crafts   We can only consider stocking your products in the shop if:

  • Your products are fit for purpose
  • The items are produced within 35 miles of the shop in Stalham NR12 9AS
  • All cosmetics must follow all EC legal requirements for labelling and hold a current certificate of testing
  • You deliver free of charge and produce an invoice

Please note if your item is accepted, this will be on a sale or return basis.
